Magical Castle Night 2011 in Beaufort
The numerous spectators at Beaufort Castle could enjoy a unique cultural highlight in July 2011. Artistic lighting, torches and candles infused the romantic castle ruin in a fairy-tale light. Princesses, ghosts and night watchmen appeared in the empty windows and doors of the castle. Dreadful sounds came out of the humid dungeons.
During the three-hour long music and dance show, famous international and national artists entertained the spectators with magical tricks, ballet dancing, modern dances, classical music and songs as well as gospel songs, with the imposing ruins of Beaufort Castle in the background. The choreography was specially arranged for these two Magical Castle Nights.
