Echternach - Past and Present
The historic marketplace after it has been rebuilt after after WW II. Notice the Basilica towers in Norman style, which have replaced the destroyed neo-gothic towers.
Also, one can see, that the town had been much more car-friendly a few decades ago. Today nobody (maybe except motorbikes) is allowed to park on the market square.
